Users should urgently update Google Chrome
Google Chrome has released patches for Windows, Mac and Linux to fix high-severity vulnerabilities exploited by bad actors.
The high-severity vulnerability is tracked as CVE-2022-0609 and described as a "Use after free in Animation". Google has detected attacks exploiting the zero-day and will not share more technical details about the vulnerability until a majority of users are updated with a fix.
Users, should update Google Chrome by opening the three button “Customize and Control Google Chrome” option on the right of the browser and selecting “Help | About Google Chrome”.
