Zoom users on MacOS Monterey should update the Zoom client to v5.9.3 to avoid that the microphone remains on even after closing the call.

Apple Mac users running the Zoom meetings client are complaining that their microphone remains on even after they have finished the meeting.
The issue is visible in the native app running on the current macOS Monterey, thanks to the visual cue that alerts users when an application is accessing the microphone or camera — via an orange or green dot in the menu bar .
